Must be nice to grow your company to the point where you can donate to the organizations you would like and take part in racing events. GoDaddy does both. I realize the race car is a marketing tool as well as a good time. However until I looked into it, I had no idea how many races they ran. If you look at the list on this GoDaddy Garage page on Danica’s site you will see they have about 40 races a year, plus or minus.
Number of Races
The sheer number of races they participate in is amazing for three reasons. First they have to fund the racing, I do not know how much they fund but I am sure it is quite expensive. Secondly, Danica Patrick who is the driver must make all these events, almost one a week at the pace of 40 in a year. I am sure that is exhausting, the travel and the physical toll from the events. Lastly the impact of sponsoring a car on their business should be well worth the time and expense.
Personally, I would love to have a business that is so successful it could spend on events such as racing.
